I first read this in August 1999.

Crap. Probably total crap, but I don't know for certain since I couldn't bring myself to read it through to the end. It exudes a contagious badness that make you want to throw it hard against the wall. Revistiing this review after 20 years, I can no longer remember anything about the book itself other than the lingering sense of horror
